Festival Director - Call for proposals
ARE YOU AN ARCHITECT WITH EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING EVENTS AND LARGE PROJECTS?
As part of the Open House production team, we are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic, visionary individual to help with the Launch of the biggest Architectural festival in Nigeria. We want preferably an Architect who is passionate about Lagos, who will market, promote, grow, develop and embrace our first Open House Weekend.
Our Festival Director will engage eloquently with festival friends and financers, with program partners, artists of all kinds and the general public. The ideal candidate will have experienced what it is like to manage events and large projects on time and on a tight budget, and who can stay cool under pressure.
He / She will be able to plan well, manage a range of paid and unpaid staff and do it all with financial foresight by creating and administering strict budgets and undertaking financial planning. Publishing skills, as well as demonstrated digital experience with online community engagement and social media would also be beneficial to someone stepping into the role.
Above all we are looking for a Director who has big ideas for the role and can demonstrate the right skills and nous to deliver on the organisation's vision.

* A summary of your artistic vision for the festival bearing in mind the Open House concept.
